Surgery News:

Threat to the Girton Dispensary

There has been an application to open a Pharmacy in the village of Girton.  This would mean that the Dispensary at Pepys Way would have to close, and would threaten the viability of our Girton Branch Surgery. We have strongly opposed this application and are now waiting for the decision to be made  towards the end of October. There is more information in the Girton Dispensary tab under Prescriptions at the top of this Home Page

O nline Appointments

Registered patients are now able to book routine appointments with their usual GP online.
This service uses SystmOnline, the online repeat prescription request service. If you already order your repeat prescriptions on line you will automatically have access to the appointment booking section.
If you would like to sign up for SystmOnline please contact reception to set up your account.

Central Reception for all telephone calls to both Huntingdon Road and Girton Surgeries

To help improve confidentiality for incoming telephone calls, all calls to Girton and Huntingdon Road surgeries are being handled by our Central Reception team at Huntingdon Road.
Both the Girton number 01223 277449 and the Huntingdon Road number 01223 364127 will be answered.
To facilitate this the reception desk at Girton now closes at 11.45am; the Dispensary hours remain the same, open until 1.00pm.

Patient Participation Annual General Meeting

The PPG AGM is being held at Huntingdon Road Surgery on Wednesday 24th September 2014. Everybody registered as a patient at the Surgery is welcome to attend, and can join the PPG if they wish. We are hoping to look at how we can improve communication between patients and the Surgery and would welcome your thoughts. If you are unable to come but would like to express your views, you can by contacting the PPG via the Contact Us tab in the Patient Group section of this website.
